“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
Reading this verse, I experienced the conviction of its content. Here, the Lord gives us ample reasons to take His word seriously and responsibly. First of all, these promises do not come from a human being, who is naturally fragile, imperfect, volatile and insufficiently informed… On the contrary, these words come directly from the mind and heart of our true God, the only one fully capable of doing so.
Why the only one? Simply because there never was or will be another God like Him. True, eternal and without limits… He who created man in His image and likeness to the eternal praises of the glory of His grace. The one who also created the heavens and the earth, the mountains, the stars, everything that man can see and everything that he has not yet noticed. He did not spare even His own son; but handed him over to death, and death on a cross, so that everyone who believes in Him will not be lost; but have eternal life. To Him and only to Him be all the glory, all the honor and the victory forever and ever: amen and amen!!!
